PARIS VIEWS by an incredible photographer Gail Albert Halaban
Gail gives us an intimate and domestic look of life. Though the photographs seem at first voyeuristic, these photos creates a powerful connection of community against a background of an overpowering city.
“My work is inspired by sleepless nights that I had as a mother. I held my baby at the window in the middle of the night searching the windows of my neighbours for connection to break the solitude.”
I highly recommend watching this beautiful video.
Palestinian artist Iyad Sabbah has created outdoor sculptures depicting families leaving a Neighbourhood of Gaza.
The worn out expressions and marks of red depicting the devastation, hopelessness and despair of their situation.
It’s a chilling, powerful and hauntingly beautiful sight.
